The photoreceiving modules are designed to record a pulsed laser emission with the normalized temporary position of the pulse edge in laser ranging and near-IR location systems.

The FPU-21 photoreceiving module is designed for reception of optical signals of 10…30 ns (FWHM) at a wavelength of 1.064…1.54 µm and subsequent forming of pulses for communication systems, location and ranging.
