Born on June 26, 1946 in Zlatoust, Chelyabinsk region.

Education


1970 - graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with a specialization in Physicist.

Professional activity


1968 – 1972 – laboratory assistant at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

1972 – join Polyus Research Institute in the position of senior engineer and worked as:

1974 – 1983 - junior research scientist, senior research scientist

1983 – 1986 – acting head of the laboratory, head of the laboratory

1986 – 1998 - head of section

1998 – 2012 - Head of the Research and Production Complex of Laser Gyroscopy

2012 – 2016 - Deputy General Director for Laser Gyroscopy and Inertial Systems based on it- Head of the Research and Production Complex of Laser Gyroscopy

2015 – 2015 - Interim Director General

2016 – 2017 - Deputy General Director, Chief Designer for Laser Gyroscopy

2017 – present - Head of the Research and Production Complex of Laser Gyroscopy of Polyus Research Institute.

Scientific activity


Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences named after A.M. Prokhorov, Academician of the Academy of Navigation and Motion Control.

He is the author of 2 monographs on solid-state garnet laser crystals, has 170 scientific publications and 24 patents.
